I Am Just Venting

I was informed that my husband has gone all the way to New York to file a complaint .
He had accused me /my sister of abusing my son and giving him a black eye while we were visiting last year.
He woke up with a black eye in the morning and we figured he probably hit his head on something in His sleep .
3 physicians, including my husbdan examined him and everything was fine
Now, after one year he has decided to file a complaint .
It's amazing a man who has physically and mentally abused us all these years has decided to do this .
Im not sure what he is trying to accomplish . I hate the fact that the our children are being pulled into the court system ..

@DrWatson I had never heard of it until about two weeks ago. I guess it is also a political tactic, and a very intelligent person here mentioned it in the political context.

Find a major investigative service and take a lie detector test. It will likely not be admitted in court as evidence, but it will put a lot of people on your side (attorneys, social services investigators, police etc.)

I think he has to keep up that "perfect" self image. So, he cannot accept that he is an abuser, and one way to cope with that "inconvenient truth" is to make himself the victim.

It is all perfectly logical, in a pathological way.

@Niloo You might want to be on guard for other ways in which he tries to "reverse" things like this. Anything you have criticized him for might be something he tries to pin on you, in order for him to protect his delusional ego.

I hope and suspect that this will backfire on him ... they'll see through the fact that he only cares to file a complaint now, when he fears losing custody.

My daughter's ex mother in law, in a letter, claimed that my daughter tried to strangle her! Funny though, when she was cross examined at the divorce trial, not a word of that.
