I Want to Vent

I really dislike being reminded that I should never be selfish and ask someone for help. Seems every time I do, the person either ignores me or agrees and is all pleased to help and then something always comes up (most times with a lame excuse) and I'm left feeling worse due to being let down. After all these years, you would think I would have learned!

@Eir089 Sadly, I know that isn't the case. In the past when this has happened, once the person is free and able to they never bring it up again. Then the rare time I remind them, they tend to find another reason they are not able.
