I Want to Vent

I really dislike being reminded that I should never be selfish and ask someone for help. Seems every time I do, the person either ignores me or agrees and is all pleased to help and then something always comes up (most times with a lame excuse) and I'm left feeling worse due to being let down. After all these years, you would think I would have learned!

@Holdmyheart This is very true. Unfortunately, I've learned that nobody really has my back. There are some on this site that sympathize with my situation and feel bad for me. But it isn't the same as having someone in person or that will actually do something to help. Not that I am a great person to ask anyone for help.

@Holdmyheart Not easy to get through this alone, hardest thing I've ever had to deal with and it isn't getting easier. Thank you for your kind words though. I wish there was an easy fix.
