OJT Anxiety

Starting our OJT next semester and feeling quite nervous about it. I'm filled with anxiety because, firstly, my resume doesn't look impressive. I'm studying BSIT, and apart from our capstone project, I don't have much to showcase. Unfortunately, even the capstone project isn't that strong. Additionally, I struggle with talking to people, and I'm afraid I'll fail in interviews. Now, I'm anxious that no company will accept me.

It's been a very long time since I've felt nervous about a job interview but I get it. Entry level applicants by definition don't have impressive skill sets or qualifications to list. Consider the other skills that might be attractive. Simple things like being on time, an eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and being organized. Project a basic confidence in your self without suggesting arrogance.

This is a video I have shared about a hundred times which may be helpful. I usually re-watch it every time I share it too!
