Overthinking hopefully…

Is anybody happy with the speed at which their life is progressing…? Or is this sense of urgency normal at 25…. I feel like im so far behind and every day is wasted time…. Not married, no kids, no home of my own….

At 23 when people my age would have children I'd think they were too young. Then suddenly 3 years later it seems like if you don't do it now, you never will. That's not true, of course, and it's good nowadays (especially as women) we can enjoy just being by ourselves doing other things that are meaningful to us, just enjoying life as it is as much as we can. In their early 20's most people are figuring out their degree and career with limited noney. In a few years you might not only have to take care of your children, but also your parents. Late 20's is for enjoying your youth and stability. Stability isn't a wasted time.
I’m much older and I feel an urgency to do things I want to do before I’m too old.

You sound ambitious and at 25 you’re allowed to feel that way but I wouldn’t stress over it you’ll get where you want to be

25 is a powerful age to be. Savor it. Perfect age to get stuff together. And we all find a pace so make the most of yours.

You should worry if you are floundering at 60
You are in your twenties. Plenty of time ahead . The past is history, the future is unpredictable and unknown so live in the present
