I did hear of a super-conductive Russet potato-in foil-- developed in collaberation with SW & MIT. They went farther with theirs, and is now the step-up phase transducer in the Higgs-Bozon Particle Colider at CERN, that discovered "The God Particle".
Mine however was limited in use; a primary replacement filament in maleable time compression circuitry, it superceded the well known Flux Capacitor.
