I don't think I have ever felt that way, even when I listen to doom metal.
One thing I've learned over the years, is if you want friends, play into a stereotype. You have be 100% that stereo type, just be somewhat predictable. I've been told I'm very strange and that comes from true uniqueness. It's just makes you alone.

I was 7 when I learned how cruel and unloveable people could be. I never really saw people the same way after that.

@MyMonstersAreReal How do you see them now?
Never relearn, once eyes are opened you have seen the light can’t un see

It was back in 2020. I've never witnessed such control on people. I just hide in the dark.
It wasn't worse anymore. More like testing the waters but my disgust views on people will still be with me no matter how long it's been in the past. It's not hate...it's just different views on Humans.

39. I don't hate people, but I don't understand them. They wear a mask and hide who they are. They ditch you without talking. I believe in good people, I know of a few, but I keep to myself these days.
It feels more like people hate me for not being fake.

I never hated the world or other people. I thought that was only teens going through a crisis or men gaming in their mothers basement like those incels

Maybe it’s because you’re surrounded by the wrong kinds of people. There are good people in the world too 😁

I've never been there. I've never loved it either.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@CrazyMusicLover And you think it as good or better? To not hate and not love it, I mean. What do you feel then about humanity and about the world?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Casheyane I don't think hating the world and humanity is healthy. To me it's a sign of some disorder that in strong intensity results in terrorism and mass killing. It's also inability to see positive things and only focusing on negatives.
I try to see it with both negatives and positives and often think that this all is nature with its own system. Majority of people aren't evil, many just want to survive or simply live a life that they deem as life worth living, just like bacteria, bugs and all living things.

I learned very early that the world wasn’t a particularly friendly place. But my parents discouraged prejudice and hatred; they taught me to see people as individuals.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard And that helps? How?
bijouxbroussard · F
@Casheyane Seriously ? You can’t always avoid facing prejudice but not being prejudiced helps a lot. You learn to deal with what people present to you as human beings. If you’re bogged down by bigotry and hatred you can miss opportunities for genuine friends and allies in a rather cold world. At least that’s been my experience.

I dislike how the world is.
I dislike how a lot of people are responsible for reinforcing the way it is.
I still love the people.
I have a strange mismatch of cynicism for how everything is paired with an optimism for how it could be.
I think one of the key elements to relearning love is to realize that you could have been any of these other people if your life circumstances were just a little different. And that deep down, a lot of people struggle with the exact same challenges you do. Some of us are broken and twisted, but most of us are just trying to make it through day to day.
