Does anyone else remember getting excited about picking up photos after they’ve been developed at a store?

That was the whole fun of photos. Taking 25 pictures on your holiday to Cornwall and not knowing if a single one was blurry until you got them developed.

Oh I am all was sending photos to Walmart to have them developed. I usually do the 2 or 3 day wait. So I can do my grocery shopping while I am there. Last time I sent photos of my grandson colten birthday.

Definitely! I had Polaroid cameras too for that instant gratification of the picture developing right before your eyes.

Yup. Every once in awhile the person working inside the hut would be like "they turned out really good" 😯

My wife said when she was a teenager, she had to switch places to have her photos developed. The guy was keeping copies of her pics in bathing suits.

lol yes! Sometimes in the "really old days" you would have to wait a week sometimes. Sucked when half came back with a fail .

Boots were a pain with their stickers. I used to use Bonusprint and get them in the post. We got the wrong photos once, not the most photogenic family 🤣

And half of them didnt develop or there was loads of pics of the dog at the end to finish the film off!

RIP the good old days.

I am not sure what sort of images you were waiting for 😈 but I also did semi-professional photography and having to wait to see if my results were saleable was brutal!

Yes. I couldn't wait to see the results, which were usually disappointing.
