swimming in the sea for over a year was soul healing

nothing humbles me more than mama ocean and her children.. there in the water i came face to face with dolphins, and manatees.

i will never forget when a mama and her baby manatee were hanging around where i was, he was huffing and puffing and swimming around me.

i didn’t try to touch them because i didn’t want to be rude and invade their space, but it was so magical to watch them and cute to hear their little huffy sounds. he even put himself between me and the shore at one point as he was circling me.

floating in her oceans arms and hearing the songs of the dolphins changed me and i will always miss it.. 🥺 the manatees and dolphins swam a lot where i swam.

i saw a big manatee with a big scar on its back.. my son and i almost bumped into her when we went into the water. anyway, i can’t wait to be back there again.. not to live, but to visit.. 🌊

or who knows, maybe one day, i will move back to FL more permanently. i really liked who i was becoming there.
