Rest in peace

A family member passed away.
I'm taking advantage of this site to vent for a moment online because It feels too tender and vulnerable to talk about it in person right now to those closest to me and because I'm the kind of person far more comfortable comforting others.

I have to think of a good way to honor their memory and keep my focus on helping family as needed.
They were a good person.

To anyone else grieving someone or struggling today because a loved one is not doing well, I very sincerely wish for you to feel some peace and rest sometime today, because it's never easy on the heart to deal with such troubles.

Sorry for the loss. Sorry to those left behind in grief. My wife of 31 years died last year. It was a slow agonizing process. I know she's in a better place but she will always be missed and appreciated

I feel the best way to honor those who've passed is to keep their memory alive by passing it along, but there's a balance. Don't let their passing become your identity

I'm very sorry for your loss. The first time I lost someone close was when I realize I can never talk to them anymore... Not like a two way conversation. That's what death is to me. Maybe you can honor them by doing what they taught you in your life. Or choosing a quality in them that you admired and incorporating or enhancing it into yourself. Stay blessed my dear 🤝

Sorry to hear of your loss. It was losing my father that was a major factor in my returning to this site too. Take care now.
