Tomorrow, A1C Zoe Grace (ZoeGrace19) will be buried at National Military Cemetary in Jefferson City. While on deployment, she was riding in a military transport vehicle that blew a tire and crashed. She will not be reported as part of the body count. She will receive no ribbons. She didn’t fly planes
or carry an assault rifle or blow up things. She was a Communications Specialist. But she’s just as dead.
Zoe liked girls and loved to talk to friends here. She loved to talk with moms here too and help them express all the feelings and desires that they couldn’t speak of in their real lives. So many of you loved her stories. If you saved her stories, don’t be shy about sharing them with other moms here.
Zoe was my half-sister. We only discovered each other a few months ago at her mom’s funeral. I’m going to miss her. I know some of you will too😢
