I'm pre-mourning the day the last WWII veteran passes.

We call many things the end of an era but for me thats the marker.

My grandad got a glass eye in the war.

My father and all others I knew personally are gone. I still watch "Band of Brothers" every Memorial Day weekend and wish I could force my kids and grandkids to watch it.
