So it’s not “life after death,” but rather life after life, with birth and death as mere punctuation marks in an eternal journey.

@Matt85 It isn't. The time of death pronouncement often precedes actual brain death. This is because there's a point where doctors can do no more. Sometimes the patient surprises them.

Nature (the cosmos) provides us with an infinite number of worthwhile lifetimes. Memories are lost and new ones are created. A natural equivalent to the soul is eternal (impervious to change).
