Holidays are always

Sad ..
My mom always made my holiday special.
Lost her to a rare blood type cancer , she was healthy otherwise, only 79. Lost her in 2020. My dad had a heart attack in 2019. I lost my step son in 2023 and my best friend who was 90 years old in 2022.

Soooo much to cope with all at once. Still grieving perhaps.
Yes, I've had similar losses , they're all gone !. I'm alone now since 2014...Heres a hug 🤗
@nightowl99 im also sorry for your losses
Sorry for all your loss . I lost my mom Nov 10, 2003. She was only sick for 14 days and was passed away age 58. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer I visit her on Thursday and we talked on Sunday and Monday she passed away so Nov is bad month for me and all my grandparents are deceased.

I lost both parents I don't grieve anymore. I just remember them and thank them for giving me life. If i allow grief to creep up it wouldn't be fair to my 2 daughters that i brought into this world. I wouldn't put them through that because grief is like cancer, it spreads. If they see me sad then they will be sad. And thats not fair to them. So i kicked grief out of my life a long time ago and will never let it back in. Ive lost a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister, all grandparents and both parents if i even let grief touch me i might not be able to come back from it! So i just live with their fond memories.
@AngelUnforgiven good idea, god bless
