Why me...the death of 8 years of lies n tries

I stand alone in a crowded room, voices all around.
I can barely wipe my eyes. The tears make me drown.
I see their stares, the whispers i hear, the snickers through it too; he left her broken, all alone now what shall she do?
I remember when the words he spoke, glistened in my ear. The smile and spark is now gone, nothing left to hold dear. Drugs, drinks, women abroad, he had EVERYTHING, yet my words were not enough for what he chose to sing.

Now hes just a shell of a man, he left so longbago, but i move on within, and he now doesnt grow.
