What do you want to happen to your body when you die?

I want to be cremated, I think burying people is a kind of morbid clinging, the person is gone and the flesh is lifeless so best just get finished with it. I mean the thought of people in the ground being eaten by worms? Yucky. But their physical form being completely gone? Just like their life? That's the way for me. Volcano would be a cool way to go, they could have a little ceremony and finish by throwing your body into an active volcano.

Donate my good organs or go to the morgue so an anatomy professor can show it to medical students. After that I don't care, it's the business of the people who care about me to do with it whatever they want if it will bring them any comfort. Funerals and rituals in general are for the living.

In one of my sociology classes in college I read an article that noted that cremation is apparently terrible for the environment, so the solution it suggested was to cook the deceased and let friends and family each eat a small part of the body.
On second thought I want my ashes scattered on the side of a football field right under where the cheer leaders perform,

Organ donation then cremation. If I have kids hopefully they’ll take my ashes somewhere tropical and leave me there.

@Nebula See that's nice!!! My wife wants a sky burial, where she's left out for the vulture to get her. A good thing I'm probably going to go first.
