My wife was an expert at washing chalk boards and cleaning erasers. She had to do it at least once a week in high school for talking in class. She is a sociable person.

I’m going to give my age away too. Our class picture was a petroglyph on a cave wall.

Wow. Through the past, darkly, or what?
I haven't thought about standing outside on a cold winter day banging the brushes together and watching the dust vanish on the wind for decades. Probably many decades.
Guess I'm THAT old too. At least I did actually clean the darn things, so the memory doesn't haunt me.

@Bexsy Apparently the past is just full of rabbit holes. No wonder I can't remember anything without twisting my ankle.

Sadly I am that old too. I have definitely cleaned the erasers far more than once. I never minded though. 🙂
