Does anyone else feel angry and bitter about life?

I do.

A lot of it is the constant betrayal I face from others.

Some of it is profoundly bad life experiences like being raped.

There’s no safety in this world. It feels like the only way to win is to not play.

I’m sorry you’ve been through all of that.

I’ve dealt with an extreme amount and still do. I try to stay positive but it is very hard at times. I’ve even put my stuff aside on a regular basis to help a “friend” who is mentally unstable only to find out she’s betrayed my trust by spreading lies.

I know it isn’t easy but try to just keep pushing through. Eventually, it’ll get easier. I’m waiting for it to too.

🤍
I used to when I was younger. But not anymore.

Yes.
Bitter might be too soft a word for me.
How about Spiteful, Resentful, or maybe straight up Hateful ?

There is no real "winning" but perhaps you'll find a type of contentment in Accepting?
Not accepting the things that have happened.
But accepting that those things aren't your fault and that there are people who are worth knowing.
People like you.
Worthy people.

Not that I'm trying to sway you in any way towards a thought you aren't searching for.

Wishing you all the best you can possibly find out there in your future.

Peace,
Rob
Not playing is no victory. But yes, life can be very difficult at times.

No lol.

You gotta bring yourself out of those things.

It sucks, but it gets better.

There is no safety. I surrendered and just keep to myself

First off, I am so sorry for your past life experiences

I have felt angry at life
But over the last six or so years I changed my narrative by putting myself in a better life situation…like surrounding myself with nontoxic people
I know that, not everyone has those means or luck

Yes at times I do but I try hard to not focus on it
Social media in general is a bad place to go if you want to have a positive spin on life. Take Facebook for instance, it is teeming with false information. Nearly ever article or story on there is made up nonsense. It gets to you after a while, saps your creativity.
Turn it off, sit by the fire, have an artificial beer and read a good book instead.
