Mandatory vasectomy for men isn't an ideal solution

I've seen a lot of talk online about mandatory vasectomies in males from birth or even getting them now and then they can get them reversed when they need to reproduce and get them back again after. I think this is a good idea for women who can't get abortions but it doesn't protect women with multiple sexual partners unless they can be sure all partners have vasectomies. Also it doesn't protect women having affairs if they know that their partner doesn't have a vasectomy which can make potential for them receiving domestic violence. I think making abortion legal again is our only option

Well, first of all, vasectomies are neither 100% effective (as are none of the other contraception methods) nor easily, or always, reversible, so it is not like you can turn a spigot on and off. More importantly, it assumes that abortion is primarily a means of contraception which feeds into the "pro-life" mindset. Abortion should be a last resort for lamentable circumstances with other forms of contraception being taught and made widely available to preclude the need for abortion except in the unusual circumstances where the mother's life is endangered, rape, incest, malformed fetuses, and failed contraceptive measures.

@dancingtongue i think you make good points. I see a lot on Instagram that it's the only solution but it's really not
