just graduated with my engineering degree, taking a 2 month break before I started my first real job, bought a midlife crises convertible bmw sports car, spending time with the love of my life (who I had actually planned to just marry but life doesnt work as planned)
worst:
right before I joined the army, slowly flunking out of University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, studying very hard and just failing anyways, thinking I was going to have just accept life as a dishwasher, trying to learn how to weld as an upgrade to dishwasher and even sucking at that for a while
suicidal for a bit, anyways army recruiter came in and ever since I got on the bus my life is getting better and better

@RebelRaven my best years are probably the last ten yrs. life is way better when you find the right person to be with after being with the wrong ones for several yrs. the college yrs were also great.
the worst time was probably the last few yrs with my second wife. she was bipolar and liked to fight.

The best:
*I think it might be between when I was still in school living in the dorms with my friends clubbing every weekend and exploring the city and becoming a young adult on my own for the first time and moving into my first apartment with all of my friends and just having a blast. It was one of the first times in my life I really felt FREE.
*Finally meeting someone I could be my ENTIRE self with. And they loved me back🥰🥺

The worst: There are so many...
*Finding out my sister had been murdered.
*Being let down by people I counted on to really be there including my family and the criminal justice system.
*Being moved from place to place and abused and taken advantage of with no voice and no say until I got so tired of it I opted to be homeless so I could be free of it while still in highschool.
* Finding out my grandma had been in a car accident and was brain dead.vs the peaceful end she deserved.
*Becoming Spontaneously paralyzed out the blue right after turning 30 and having so much of my life ruined again.
*Being engaged to an abusive narcissist who blackmailed me for years after the original breakup and changed me forever.
*My brother almost dying on the same day as my mother's funeral and both of our lives now being changed forever in different ways for different reasons.
Etc.

I've had several happy times. Some I'm not sure I want to share just yet. One of the worst was the day I was told I lost Papa Larry. I don't want to bore anyone with the explanation in detail. I worked in an assisted living facility for seniors at the time. I grew attached to Larry. The day I was told was via text message from my boss. Her words were, "Larry died. Please do not go into his apartment. Please make sure only his family does. Also, sorry, but stop getting close to the residents. They are old and die."
