What’s something people don’t worry about but really should?

I think many people do not worry about their retirement. To a lot of people it seems so far away.
I remember when I got my first paycheck in 1977 it had my retirement date on it. 2027. (now pushed out to 2029)
So far into the future that I could not comprehend how long a time that was. Should have started saving then though.

No one can really. Inflation never was fixed and was always higher than any bank interest rates.

Retirement was intended only for the wealthy. Those that took risks. They assume, since you are taking the safe route and not making them money by any losses, you don't deserve to even retire.

It's why the wealthy are so vehemently against any type of socialism. And yes government retirement checks are a form of socialism.

This is just one reason why the whole economic systems NEED to be scrapped and completely started over. All around the world.

People right now are not acting as though we have an extremely severe oil shock in the near future. If you don't have a bike, buy one and perhaps recalibrate your idea of what distance you can and cannot reasonably walk/bike.

People should worry about nothing… plan yes, but don’t worry. It shortens your life.

Their health. Everyone thinks that because they feel fine now doing nothing, that they don't need to bother with exercise. One day it catches up to them and then they wish they had worked on it a bit more.

@SoftIceCream Almost everyone does not appreciate their health until they become ill.
