That the last person I opened my heart to was really sketchy, and that things would have been far worse had I uprooted my life for her. I think if it hadn't ended when it did, I could have lost myself completely. I think I had to learn the hard way that there was a major gap in my armor and that I had a deadly blind spot.

It wasnt long ago, like it usually is.

It was just a few weeks ago when I was studying a section of the Gospel of Luke, when something written by Rabbi Amy Jill Levine hit my brain. "That's it! That's what it really meant to First Century listeners." Don't ask me what it was, because I've moved on since then.

I don't know how to put it into words, but That every moment is a new moment and is not predestined.
