Not exactly a loved one, but it was my husband's niece that I barely knew. She grew up in the house I live in now with my family. (After her and then later her mother moved out, the connected us with the landlord so we could rent the house.)

The got brain cancer, but after long and difficult treatment it was gone. She got married and for a couple of years things were fine. Then the brain cancer came back and it was much faster and severe than the last time. She didn't make it. She was 23 years old.

She had died around 1 am in the morning. It wasn't until later in the morning that we were told by another family member that she had passed. The strange thing was that in the middle of the night for some reason every smoke alarm in our house starting going off and we couldn't find anything that might have caused it. Then we found out she had died and when we were told what time it happened we realized it was within minutes of all our smoke alarms going off.

No, but I've gotten signs from non-human spirits and deities.

If yes then I was clueless. 😆 If any deceased would want to give me a sign they'd better be very clear because there are many possible explanations for things that we find strange or suspiciously coincidental.

Only a sign that I dearly wanted to be from a deceased loved one. But the cynic in me is ever-present.
