I feel you...nothing like a good planner. But I have gone with the online Notion these days....kind of fun with all of its options. But yes....paper is cool.

I make notes on the calendar on the wall, and write cryptic squiggles on old envelopes or memo-pad sheets to remind me.
Things like appointments are "stuck" by magnets to a steel cupboard.
