What do you call it when you’re talking to someone new and you realize they haven’t asked you a single question about yourself?

Depending on the topics you talked about it could be shyness to ask personal questions, or waiting for you to share something of yourself, or it could be self-centredness.

I'm only asking a question, because I don't know the whole scenario, obviously, I weren't there. Were you clothed?

I've had the opposite happen to me before they will grill me but it's like pulling teeth trying to ask them anything in return.

Maybe they just ramble because they're nervous? just ask them if there's anything they want to know about you. if they draw a blank every time then immediately go back to talking about themselves, then you might have a problem
