What is it with (white) people that like bland food?

I like colorful and things with lots of flavor or spice.

Not sure about bland, i like the kinda stuff I grew up with that my mom cooked

As a white person who loves spice I don't know why. I suspect their parents never exposed them to good food.

One time we told Iris, “you won’t like it, it’s spicy” so now everything she doesn’t like is spicy.

Maybe they never grew out of that phase, moooom.

I don't know but I don't trust anyone who considers pepper "spicey".

So wild. I live in Arizona, give me ALL THE SPICE.
