What was the highlight of your summer this year. I definitely enjoyed the beach as usual. I enjoyed the food. I enjoyed the movies. I enjoyed my family and friends. I had a great time. Even here on SW it was truly special. The posts and the topics were awesome. So let's keep them coming guys. By the way, the Fall begins soon. Did you enjoy your summer 🌞
2025 has not been an enjoyment-filled year for me. I had 4 surgeries within 3½ months, had an indwelling Foley catheter for a consecutive 107 days, was on numerous antibiotics - oral and I.V. - for 4 blood infections, 2 of which I had contracted IN the hospital. After 2 weeks in hospital, I continued I.V. infusions at home through a PICC line for another 2 weeks. I'm just now getting back on my feet. So, no, this hasn't been a comfortable year.
BUT, I'm now much better and am looking forward to a healthier Fall and Winter.
Not at all. I was diagnosed with cancer in July, two weeks after Ray was. We started chemo the same week, taking each other back and forth to treatments and doctor’s appointments.
