What was the highlight of your summer this year. I definitely enjoyed the beach as usual. I enjoyed the food. I enjoyed the movies. I enjoyed my family and friends. I had a great time. Even here on SW it was truly special. The posts and the topics were awesome. So let's keep them coming guys. By the way, the Fall begins soon. Did you enjoy your summer 🌞

Not at all. I was diagnosed with cancer in July, two weeks after Ray was. We started chemo the same week, taking each other back and forth to treatments and doctor’s appointments.
@cherokeepatti Oh, Patti... I'm sorry to hear this. Please remember, cancer is not a death sentence. There's so much they can do these days. And, so much YOU can do. State of mind plays a HUGE part.

@PhoenixPhail I don’t qualify for immunotherapy and they are trying to find a clinical trial that matches my cancer genes now, so they are doing genetic studies.The doctor over that study thought they found a match but it came back negative. She called me and told me that new studies are always coming out frequently so she’d keep looking and keep me informed. I am having chemo sessions in the meanwhile. I am doing my best to eat a healthy diet. I have my energy so far and am able to do a lot more now than the first time I had cancer. I’ve been able to do the shopping and errands too this time. I don’t know if that will change or not.
