I'm familiar with the description of something - or someone - being "ghetto" but the everyday world of work really doesn't merit the use of the word.

Why is it ghetto? Its being hardworking and being a productive member of society. Standing in front of a cornerstore drinking a 40oz for 8 hours when you could be working earning a paycheck is ghetto.
