Anyone else doesn't watch porn? I don't see the point of it, honestly it also scares me after...

I tried once, well more than once, to try an understand my partner better, (and to maybe find what i like, myself).

But... truthfully it was a little depressing, a bit scary, some was a bit aggressive or even violent, but mostly - frustrating.

I think in many weekends of spending hours looking and searching, i found very little that "floated my boat".

I found it mostly demoralising and a little offensive.

Mind you i never tried looking at more hi end porn that one subscribes to.

I don't understand why nearly all porn is the same....or has so little deviation of feel.

In mainstream movies we have multiple genres or crossover of genres. Like theres romance, action, action/romance, even action/romance/mystery/comedy.

There's everything from period stuff to sci-fi.

Why cant the porn industry be the same?

Im a recovering porn addict, i had to stop watching for my mental and sexual health, its a uniquely hard addiction to kick because your genitals are a part of you and its not like substance addictions where you can throw the bottle or needle away and go on living your best life.

Abstinence is the key that helps re-wire your brain and body to its normal sexual functioning, but then you understand that normal sex without porn is healthy and natural but its still technically porn just in a better way

I don't make a point of seeking it out but if I'm surfing the net and come across something that's, let's say, spicy in content I may take a couple of seconds (maybe minutes if time allows) to watch, if nothing else just for a few giggles.
