Usually about 6 months mostly because I have a tendency to wear out the inside of the heel. I bough two pairs of barefoot shoes plus winter and summer barefoot hiking boots. So far I can report less back pain when walking on hard surfaces. Now looking forward to hiking this summer.

Running shoes that I use for running; about a year. I would wear them longer but my wife says that's not good. After the year I use them as gardening and working shoes.

I take turns wearing different pairs when I go to the gym. If I wore just one pair of gym shoes without switching them up, one pair would probably last me 6 months or so.

About one pair a year. I find I wear hiking boots a lot more now, sketchers too.
