I need to forget someone. Thinking about going on some dates but I'm afraid of meeting more aholes...

I’ll never forget that someone but would like to just find someone without an agenda. Maybe I’m being selfish but it seems like everyone I meet anymore are looking for a caretaker, paycheck, home or to get away from their kids. Can’t someone just want to be company? Maybe dinner, walks, concerts, sporting events or nature without having a motive?
