I think he messed up the whole thing. I think he was supposed to set it up first by saying his heart goes out to all, then give the nazi salute. But I'm sure he meant it as a nazi salute. But I wonder how he meant it, considering his audience.
He never struck me as a nazi. His whole reason for buying Twitter goes against their beliefs. I think he was saying the audience were all nazis. Either way, it was done in purely bad taste. It's not something that should be done by a man with such influence to a crowd of people who also have a ton of influence and followed by millions of people who are easily influenced.
