Have you ever seen a fight in real life?
I feel like most people have witnessed a fight.

This is such a strange question to me because I was in so many physical fights in my life. I almost feel like it is strange that there are people who have never been in a physical fight. Like how?
There are all kinds of asshles everywhere and combine that with my own immaturity as a teenager I struggle to understand how people avoided fights. Like did you run away or did the teacher stop it or what?

Yes. My father got drunk once and attacked my obnoxious uncle.
When I was a kid, I defended myself from a bully, because my father told me to.
Both times I felt disappointed. Disappointed in my father for the first, and later disappointed in myself for listening to my father's brainwashing.
I have broken up fights and been in near fights. Aimless fighting doesn't solve anything.

I'm a little strange, I hate conflict and I hate violence against the innocent, but on some level I like fighting if I get enough aggression up, though I still try not to do the wrong thing while sitting there tempted sometimes

Not that this matters really but what if the families had tried to sue for more money and the adoptive parents didn't have the money? I mean, most of us have no where close to even one million, and 40 years ago that would have been like three million today?

@Punches by then he was an adult so they could only go after his assets which had to be minimal. But it was their car.
Tragically the other 3 guys were only in the car because their truck was stolen. They went to the club where he was bouncing for a ride home.

Many years ago now.
My wife went missing for a few days, over the new year period, going on a whole drink, drugs and sex bender. Myself and our, then, 2 children were out of our mind with worry. Likewise my mother-in-law.
When she did eventually come home, she wasn't looking great, and her mum shouted at her and slapped her very hard across the face. It was very much a one-way fighting thing.
It upset me, it upset our girls, it upset everything. I kicked her out for a time.
We did get back together, happily so. All is good.

@MsSwan I like when people get in fights and they are at the part where their shirt is over their head or they have a wardrobe malfunction like their pants falling down.
This happens always.
Also it's funny because I'm pretty sure they imagined the situation would play out more like a scene in Rocky or Bloodsport rather than like a scene out of some gorilla documentary.
