anything you miss from lockdown times ?

why does it feel like a long time ago but pretty recent as well

I miss everyone staying home and the world stopping - it didn’t feel like I was missing out on everything during that time

@MarbleMarvel Depends on where. I think there were never as many people in the local woods as during the pandemic. The shops and public facilities were closed so they all headed to nature. Woods were also one of the few public places where you could go without a mask. Luckily, most only used well defined trails instead of just going wherever. But I remember that at some point people were warned to not leave the trails because they leave scent marks and disturb animals.

The feeling that I can take a break because even if I tried to move forward, nothing would work anyway because everything came to a halt. But I wouldn't want that stress from uncertainty and not knowing yet how dangerous that virus was. I had plenty of dizzy spells and cases of sleep paralysis throughout 2020 and 2021.

I think sharing more time with loved ones, doing more things together etc.

Also having things clean and people being more hygienic In general.

@wackidywack Yep. Now I think people don’t wash their hands as often or sanitize hands as often.

I miss the first day, I went to work and stood outside looking how much cleaner the air was, how much quieter the world was without the endless stream of tourist traffic that came back a few days later

I was never under lockdown being in the medical field i worked through it. So i cant relate. It feels alien to me just hearing about it.

Yes I was blessed to be locked down with wonderful people. The ones now back in routine and their own life I wish them well always.

When people went to the store it what not they just got in and got out
Clean air
Clean streets
Staying home
Bonding
Cheap gas

It was like society and life was functioning reasonably for two months.
Oh seeing wildlife take over was pretty cool too. Deer and other critters just going wherever they wanted.

I hate that people got sick but lockdown life was wicked awesome
