Gasoline cost solutions. More public transit?

The bay area metro, public buses,walking\biking, Subway. Rickshaw.

Given more traffic and basic economic principles. If prices go up as demand exceeds supply. Only two solutions really exist.
1 increase supply\decrease cost of production. Or 2. Decrease demand\ reduce amount needed (increase efficience) \create alternatives (electric cars, HASNT helped much)

There are still two main solutions
1. Agricultural based fuel such as gasoline from hemp oil; or Biodeisel ( fryer oil kinda thing).
2. Alternatives ex. Passenger rail, zip lines, waterways. Public transit etc.
Therefore how to lower gas prices?
I just spelled out the best options.

With Trump in office we'll start drilling right away.

@HobNoblin no need to drill. Hemp oil can be made into gasoline. I know how. So do the oil producers (i mean "drillers").

@HobNoblin Friends in oil industry were already gearing up. Price of equipment has gone up

@Patriot96 agricultural hemp oil gasoline is best for the American economy. Drill for "fossil fuel" is the longest running distraction campaign in modern times.

Basic economic principles. People will find alternatives

@Patriot96 i did not support trump. If we just return to hemp oil production, gasoline would be 1$ instead we import "drilled" oil to then refine into gasoline. That scam started around 1928. So can we really blame trump for all the legislators Rockefeller bought out?

no dummy...
Now, here I am, trying to be new better Shadowfire, not insulting people, and what do I get for my troubles?
...domestic oil will be cheaper,
Interesting. And where do you propose we get it? Fracking? I know that's a popular one among people who don't want poor folks to be allowed to breathe.
jehova · 31-35, M
@LordShadowfire hemp oil. Specifically until the prohibition of cannabis in 1938 (The marihuana Tax Act of 1937) gasoline was derived from the species Cannabis Rhudderalis Kentucki native hemp of North America 300 barrels an acre prior to 1938.
