@Kawaii: I can tell you're a person with maternal instincts. (Which is a fantastic trait to have by the way!) - But that's not always the case. There have been instances in the past where the authorities have taken children away from their biological parents at birth because it's blatantly obvious they'd be unfit parents.

I'm obviously not a guy, but if a guy got me pregnant and they didn't want the baby, I would either get an abortion or give the child up for adoption. Even if I did want to keep the baby, I wouldn't force the guy to pay child support if they didn't want to. If they don't want any part of my baby's life, then why should they have to pay for it?

Try to convince the girl to get an abortion. I don't know where you live, but in the U.S., the guy is required by law to be a father in some way.
Of course, I wouldn't be caught in that situation. Any women I have sex with, I make sure before that they also do not want kids and will take appropriate steps if they do get pregnant.

@Kawaii: The duration of a pregnancy. It's split into 3 month intervals. A pregnancy is 9 months, right. A trimester is one chunk of 3 months. So the first two trimesters would be the first 6 months of pregnancy. The first trimester would be the first 3 months of pregnancy.

@Kawaii: Depends on where. Some places, 12 weeks, when a heartbeat can be detected with ultrasound. Other places, 24-26 weeks. It's scientifically believed thst the fetus doesn't feel any pain until 24-26 weeks.

This used to be the way it would happen .. .. and it was accepted the boy got off scott free or even with a badge of pride ... the girlmwas stuck with the responsibility and shamed .. this was all acceptable in the publuc view .. ..
However now there is DNA testing and society's expectations have changed ... ... the boy is now expected to step up, own his actions and share the responsibility .. .. .. there is acceotance that it happens and the shame is greatly reduced .. .. I am not sure if that is all good but it does allow life to move forward in a positive way .. .. so no boys no longer run away scott free .. .. ..

well if I guy gets you pregnant hopefully he does not just walk away and move on but if he does and you can not afford to take care of the infant yourself there will always be people able and willing. The Lord will take care of things

I'd stick by her. I'm 23 years old, and whilst I'm still a bit too young for parenthood, I wouldn't reject it. It is a lifelong goal I want to reach in 4-5 years time anyway. :)
