I'm obviously not a guy, but if a guy got me pregnant and they didn't want the baby, I would either get an abortion or give the child up for adoption. Even if I did want to keep the baby, I wouldn't force the guy to pay child support if they didn't want to. If they don't want any part of my baby's life, then why should they have to pay for it?

@mic11225: Hmm, yeah, but assuming that it's a consensual encounter, then I would be getting myself pregnant just as much as the guy would be getting me pregnant, would I not? Abstinence is the only 100% guarantee of not getting pregnant. I do agree with you though if a woman got raped.

@Kawaii: If the woman agrees to have sex with a man, then she puts herself in the position of possibly getting pregnant. The only way in which a woman could 100% prevent a pregnancy is to not have sex at all.

@melovemycats: That's true but the guy shouldn't have no responsibility just because you consented to sex, which is essentially what they have if they decide they don't want to raise it.
