Guys what would you do if you accidentally got a girl pregnant?

my teacher told me that most guys don't take responsibility and just move on not care.
Is it true?

Prepare to lose my earning for 18 years as the female has 100% control over the child in court
achangeofplan · 36-40, M
thats why the uk is great... we have 50/50 parental responsibility
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@wearebutone: good on the UK I'm fucked here tho
achangeofplan · 36-40, M
@Firespirit: where are you?
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@wearebutone: Canada
achangeofplan · 36-40, M
@Firespirit: maybe the law will change there too
Kawaii · F
@Firespirit: @wearebutone: I'm in Canada too! ! but why not just get married?
achangeofplan · 36-40, M
@Kawaii: well how does that make a difference?
TheFakeSlimShady · 31-35, M
Guys, whatever you do, DON'T get married - There's nothing wrong with having children with your girlfriend, DON'T MAKE HER YOUR WIFE! - You'll be financially fucked if you divorce.
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@Kawaii: and have her take half my things yeah that sound great
achangeofplan · 36-40, M
@TheFakeSlimShady: I'm On my second marriage. financially that was all good too. divorce is cheap in the uk if you can work it out together
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@wearebutone: Sure but if she want all of yours stuff not much you can here. as the courts are so bias towards women
TheFakeSlimShady · 31-35, M
@wearebutone: You were lucky. There are women out there that like to play "Knocked up and run". Avoid that risk entirely by not tying the knot.
Kawaii · F
@Firespirit: isn't that better than to lose earning for 18 years as the female has 100% control over the child in court?
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@TheFakeSlimShady: Seems rather silly you need a piece of paper to say I love you
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@Kawaii: you are gonna get that either way plus lawyer fees if she want to take the kid and you have to pay to support that kid
achangeofplan · 36-40, M
@Firespirit: tip, own nothing lol. i kept my dog which was mine before she kept her house that was hers before, left everything there for my kid
TheFakeSlimShady · 31-35, M
@Kawaii: When the child matures and works out their mother has stopped them from seeing their father for some fucked up reason, the "having 100% power in court" will bite the mother right on the left arse cheek.
Kawaii · F
@TheFakeSlimShady: oh. but what if the daddy dont want the baby?
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@wearebutone: That is nice but if you owned lets say a car or a house and she took that I don't think you would be happy
Kawaii · F
@wearebutone: everyone will be happy. and you'll have a happy family
TheFakeSlimShady · 31-35, M
@Kawaii: Then he wouldn't fight in court to see his child, would he?
Kawaii · F
@TheFakeSlimShady: yeah if they get married then no more fighting to see the baby.
TheFakeSlimShady · 31-35, M
@Kawaii: Marriage isn't a guarantee that the woman can't take the man to court over custody. Also, he'll be named on the birth certificate, so he'll have just as many rights to be a parent as the mother.

Your teacher has poisoned your way of thinking in regards to this subject. Sure, there's a small minority of guys who are arseholes. But the majority of men out there (including myself) would love to be a Father and would certainly stick around.
Kawaii · F
@TheFakeSlimShady: really? cause all the friends that have baby they say the daddy don't want to take care of baby.
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@Kawaii: Maybe if so many guys don't want to it could have to be with the women maybe she is intolerable
