Do people have to earn your trust and prove themselves of being worthy in your life? That’s how I am I never settle for less.

It should be a two way thing, but how long would it take to get to know someone to realise how trustworthy they are, and how could you prove it?
Sometimes it's difficult to see people's motives, especially online.

I'm happy to start talking with pretty much anyone, but they'll need to earn my trust if they want to get to know me deeper.
