What's a dream you've let go of?

Why?

Being truly loved by a man.

At my age. After all this time. How many times I've tried and failed. Not willing to anymore

Walking. It's just better for my sanity to accept where I'm at and adapt now.

I dreamed my older sister would love me because I loved her. When she was 4 and I was 2 she told our dad that she loved me back because I loved her. He made a record of our conversation on an old disc-making machine in 1949.

She never loved me again though. Last night I called her machine and told her all the old good memories I nevertheless still retained from our way- younger days. Off top of my head. Asked her to call me back.

But we're both pretty old now and she probably wont. I never much tell stories like this here by the way.

And as far as knowing why, its probably because she judged me inadequate to love her back. I'm not supposed to know why though.

My younger sibs don't love me now either. None of them love each other as well.

We all had power elders though. Strong, influential and successful. Giving and loving in the extreme.

But when this happened it kinda killed most other dreams as well. A good life is pretty much based on strong positive relationships and no one was closer to me than that one, and it failed. Our mom never seemed to care that it happened either. Kinda like it was expected.

Living the American dream as a teenager. I'm still young, an incoming sophomore, yet I was given a chance to leave my third world country to live the life I have always wanted. I turned it down.

I didn't want my parents to empty out every single penny they worked for just for me to be away from them and be in another continent working and studying at the same time. Sometimes when I think of it, I see myself as a coward. Like how can other people survive in other countries away from their parents and I didn't have the guts to at least try?

My only hope is graduating and that's when I leave my country.
A real father figure. I'm pretty much grown up now but it'd be nice to have one.

Making music or something audio-related. I want to spare my ears for the music of others who can do it far better than I will ever be able to.
