What is something that Someone might be mistaken about you?

Almost everything to be honest. 😶
The assumptions are usually pretty far off.

On here? Everything. Only a few long-term friends know me.

A lot of people think that I’m somewhat reserved and straight.
Many people I know in real life have the mistaken idea that I am a highly intelligent person because I use a lot of unusual words in conversation. The truth is I used to read a lot and learned a lot of $10 words that way.
@atlantic59 I try to explain to those very same people that if I were truly intelligent I would have been more successful in school, I barely graduated from high school and flunked out of college and I sure as hell wouldn't be a truck driver if I had any brains at all LOL

@istillhaveanameitsrick but you are so much smarter and relevant than you know...

@istillhaveanameitsrick and would he have driven an ambulance in the Spanish Civil War or blown his brains out years later cause he felt he lost his youth? Consider yourself lucky

A lot of people in real life assume that I am a prim and proper prude. I'm multi-faceted.

@Poppies I always thought you were just a Beautiful, happily married, intelligent, creative woman but what could I know?
Poppies · 61-69, F
@atlantic59 I'll settle for that!

I’m not really outgoing so there have always been those who tagged me as snobby or prudish, I’m usually construed as being much smarter than I am, and I’ve been described as weird a lot in this life which I don’t think I am anymore than anyone else is.
I've been told that the way I dress doesn't reflect my status.

Most days I wear old clothes in my shop (I think with all the paint and dust and such that I'm just being practical). And if I need to go somewhere, I change..... But, I usually just change into cargo shorts and a Tee-shirt (even for offsite meetings). I really do not see the point of "dress codes" per se. I prefer to be comfortable and so.... The dress code policy I have instituted at my place of business is "relaxed." =No bikinis, no open toe shoes, no rings/jewelry, put your long hair up (all safety issues) and all your gender defining bits covered.

@Threepio I love the way old clothes reflect your passion from the stains
I’m often mistaken for angry, sad, or intelligent.
