How tall is Jason Statham?

I was looking up his movies and Google said his height was 178 cm/5'8 tall. Which is 1 centimetre taller then me. And I'm not that tall, yet his taller then most people in his films... So is it movie magic or has Google finally let us down?

Chuck Norris is a short dude too. i had friend who auditioned as an extra on Walk Texas Ranger a long time ago.

My friend walked into the edition and the casting director looks at him and says "you are over 6 foot are you kidding me? as in my friend who have made Norris look small by comparision.

Statham may work wth other actors extras who are near his height. Interestingly a lot of Hollywood leading men are small including Stallone, Cruise and a host of them.
