Yes she has a job, kids and a house. But i don't care because im not a selfish person who trapped two guys at seperate times in a relationship by getting pregnant like her.
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
No, my brother is on disability because he has terminal brain cancer. It doesn't bring me joy or jealousy.

No. Much like Fragile, my sister is dying from cancer. I’m not jealous at all.
Nor joyous.

@ImpeccablyImperfect I'm so sorry

@SW-User thank you. We are all just coming to terms with it 😞

My sister has more money, or at least she spends it as though she does. But I have better health (so far, touch wood, etc.)
The fact that she seems able to spend money like water fills me with neither joy nor jealousy. It fills me with frustration because it isn't making her happy and much of it just goes to waste as far as I can tell.

No, they have problems with keeping relationships going and that’s hindered them from doing better. They both could have been sitting pretty if they’d learned to get along with their husbands and treat them right.
Ducky · 31-35, F
Yep. She’s doing way better, lol. It brings me joy, though. I do wish I could be like her, but I don’t got it.
Both, if I’m being honest. And the jealousy is nothing I’m proud of, just a constant companion.

@OlderSometimesWiser I appreciate your honesty

@hunkalove You could melt down a bus load of nuns and still be the "Good kid" at this point. 😄
BTW I though so-called Christians weren't suppose to ingest poisons nor have multiple divorces?
Assuming your brother is at least age 50 or even 40, isn't he a bit old for that kind of lifestyle?

All 4 sisters are gone but the first 3 had great lives in most respects and the 4th, not so much. She was even shyer and more awkward around people than me.

Let's just say my mother almost TRAINED me to be jealous of my brother...AND jealous of one of my cousins.
He was a college professor, and I was an art major who didn't work in the field of art. I wasn't jealous of him later in his life, but I had a VERY difficult time keeping the secret he asked me to keep from my parents when I was a teenager.

I am doing better in many ways than them combined, all by the grace of God.
Jonjdw · 51-55, M
I do better than my sister my only sibling. My wife’s brother has more stuff than we do. He makes more money. But that don’t make him better.
mindstruggle · F
No jealousy at all!!!
I wish for my siblings to have what they want in life. I’d support them.

It depends on how one defines better off. If that means having more money or a newer home, probably. If it means are happier, doubtful. I don't mind them having greater wealth.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
My sister and I have very different lives. She'll make more money than me but I'm in no way jealous of her life, and I don't think she's jealous of mine.
It evens out
bijouxbroussard · F
My middle sister has what she wants, and I’m happy for her. She’s always there for Pop and the rest of us.
