Let me suggest a few things you can try. I'm not sure if it will help your particular problem.
Our expenses are divided into three components. The NEEDS, TheWANTS, and THE SAVINGS, which I hopeare self-explanatory. Most of our financial troubles arise when we spend more of our incomeon Wantsrather than Needs. Savings must be derived from the difference of those two. This is a simple thing you can do that might help you.
Spend half of your income on essentials, thirty percent on wants, and 20% on savings.
People, even our grandparents, used to do this without realizing it. I hope this helps you.

@Renkon Not so simple, my Energy Bill went up £200 a month. Where do zi get that from. I’m now £2000 in credit.
Times are hard, there are no easy solutions.
The effects of inflation are still hitting us. Food banks are rife.
And to keep my wife’s eye sight the National Health Service did nothing I took out a big loan.

@SW-User Thinking out side the box :
Have you considered moving to another country on a work basis? Where living costs are lower and you can find a job with an adequate salary. It may sound like a stretch, but others have done it.
There are places where the expense of health care is lower. I've seen some folks do it. And I'm not sure what you do or whether you'll can find the right job abroad.

@Renkon I am in the UK. it left the EU and must now live with the consequences. It is in terminal decline.
To get residency in Spain for example you need £ 25 000 in the bank.
You need guaranteed income. The European Health care system no longer applies. This is the real world

My suggestion would be to calculate your income and fixed outgoings over the next twelve months, subtract your outgoings from your income and divide the remainder by 52 to see how much you actually have left to spend each week. If there are any bills you can reduce or eliminate, try to organise that. This all involves a bit of brain-strain, but I reckon you'll probably feel a bit calmer and more on top of things if you do as I've suggested.
I don't know where you are, but here in Scotland, prices of many basic foods have doubled over the past couple of years, and gas and electricity bills had tripled at one point. I don't know how people are managing to survive.

@PunkRockSuperStar The cost of living is horrendous. When I did a budget I found I could not break even.
Yet was I said elsewhere, my energy company has £2000 in credit.

@SW-User In other words, you've overpaid them, or they've overcharged you? It's the same here (they habitually do this), but at least my supplier gave me the option to reduce my monthly payments, which I did by 50%.

I don't think it's that no one really cares, it's just that most of us are in the same predicament now. I know I am.
Something really has to be done about the economy in every country most likely.
I can empathize with you. 😔🤗

Hang in there TQ. The rate of inflation has been VERY high. It is starting to improve. You should maybe ask your boss for a raise ? especially if you have not gotten one within the last year.
WillaKissing · 56-60
Hey, I do not know you, but I care because I am in the same type of economic situation until I gets debts paid off. So, I understand.
I honestly think the Government is trying to get rid of anyone below upper middle class. First homelessness, then homelessness becomes illegal and then people just start to disappear.

I'm sorry things are so tough right now. I believe we all feel the pinch. Know that people do care. I hope things do improve. It's been a challenging few years. 🤗

Cut back on the Starbucks coffee and getting your nails done u will save a lot
Tittyqueen · 41-45, F
@smileylovesgaming I don’t get my nails done, and rarely go to Starbucks
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@Tittyqueen there is a lot u can do to save a little money. Just don't go out to eat or don't order food. If u have cable just turn it off. Right there u would save 60 to 80 dollars. I would get a ruku and get Hulu or Netflix. U can get one for like the 9 dollars.

Sorry you’re dealing with that… Things are tough now and have been for the past few years. Hopefully things get better for you soon.
