Let me suggest a few things you can try. I'm not sure if it will help your particular problem.
Our expenses are divided into three components. The NEEDS, TheWANTS, and THE SAVINGS, which I hopeare self-explanatory. Most of our financial troubles arise when we spend more of our incomeon Wantsrather than Needs. Savings must be derived from the difference of those two. This is a simple thing you can do that might help you.
Spend half of your income on essentials, thirty percent on wants, and 20% on savings.
People, even our grandparents, used to do this without realizing it. I hope this helps you.

@Renkon Not so simple, my Energy Bill went up £200 a month. Where do zi get that from. I’m now £2000 in credit.
Times are hard, there are no easy solutions.
The effects of inflation are still hitting us. Food banks are rife.
And to keep my wife’s eye sight the National Health Service did nothing I took out a big loan.

@SW-User Thinking out side the box :
Have you considered moving to another country on a work basis? Where living costs are lower and you can find a job with an adequate salary. It may sound like a stretch, but others have done it.
There are places where the expense of health care is lower. I've seen some folks do it. And I'm not sure what you do or whether you'll can find the right job abroad.

@Renkon I am in the UK. it left the EU and must now live with the consequences. It is in terminal decline.
To get residency in Spain for example you need £ 25 000 in the bank.
You need guaranteed income. The European Health care system no longer applies. This is the real world
