One of my greatest fears is outliving my wife. I think this comes from the first 2mins of the film Up.

Society and public services aren’t kind to lonely old men. And by then my daughters will be busy having adventures of their own.

I sure your girls wont neglect their old Dad, but sure some people make your life so colourful that their absence would be sheer agony.
