thats true, someone from church has been giving me the silent treatment for over 2 yrs just cause i asked her for a ride to church one day, she gave me a ride and never talked to me again, its awkward to see her in church and at the senior center too cause she wont talk to me, not sure why
A long time ago I was dating a woman and, over something innocuous, went in to the silent treatment. I told her how that wouldn't fly with me and she needed to drop the act. She didn't. I left. Easy call.

Sometimes silence when two are together can be an indication of being relaxed in each other's company, a deep communication not requiring words to feel joy in companionship. Telepathy can touch on that as can music . Obviously not always ; words are also necessary to develop the relationship.
Hi Sweetheart, This is so true. Sometimes people get so wrapped up in their lives they tend to forget their are others out in the world that would love a simple hello, or a how are you. It only take a little energy to connect. I hope I can always find time for family and friends.
