Were you a problem child? Are you still a problem child?

DragonFruit · 61-69, M
As a child, I wasn’t a problem child.
I started becoming a pronlem child whem I was in college and got into alcohol amd drugs....and I;ve remained somewhat of a problem child for many years.
I wasn't. I was considered "biddable." This does not refer to auction but to a willingness to do what one is told.

NOW I am a problem child.
I am the good child. Always been.

@mindstruggle let's fix that
Yes and no. I was a good kid, that worked hard, and did what I was told but I also was independent minded and would fight for fairness which almost got me expelled my senior year over a social justice issue that school wasn’t taking seriously.

@DarkHeaven I was similar in that. I was the good kid but sometimes I'd surprise people who wouldn't expect certain reactions coming from me..
@elafina I can see that, beautiful. 🖤🤗

I was a little wild tomboy. As a teenager I was wild and carefree, in my twenties I was ridiculous and foolish!
In my 30s still untamed! At 37 I gave birth to my one and only calmed down since and now in my early 50s I'm an introvert that prefers to be alone. Glad I had those days, taught me a lot.

I got abused and ignored. My half bro and sis were much older and my dad's favorite. I've always been the pain in everyone's ass.

I'll put it to you this way: I wasn't my parents favourite child growing up, But if the cops ever knocked on the door I was the first one they thought of.
Yeah definitely a problem child. But I was the oldest so it was kinda different from the rest of my siblings.

By the time I hit 14 my parents couldn't tell me what to do anymore so they didn't even try. I left when I wanted, did what I wanted, would come back home days or weeks later without question. If I got kicked outta school nobody questioned me. If I got arrested nobody questioned me.

Till I turned 18.. then I got arrested again & my dad said get tf out 😅

I was the only kid in the history of my elementary school to get suspended and nearly got kicked out the year before. To be fair that was just about the time things got bad at home.

Very much so, was diagnosed with conduct disorder and odd as a kid.

As an adult that transformed into Aspd and bpd as an adult and gets worse with time.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F

A problem? Not for me... mom and dad didn't agree with my viewpoint 😁
TexChik · F
I am much more of a problem now than I ever was as a child.
DavidScott · 51-55, M
kinda.
I've matured a lot. My parents can see now that I'm not a weirdo.
I was low maintenance even as a child

Depends on your definition of 'problem'. Some would say yes, some would say no.
