Any good remedies for removing ear wax?

At least I think its ear wax. I tried a Chemist Own brand, but that didn't work. Then a few days later a Waxol. but now it feels like its compacted in the ear and causing a good deal of pain. And even chewing hurts. I rinsed it out with warm water from the shower but that didn't work..

I keep my ears clean the exact way they tell us all not to. In the shower I’ll get some body wash on my finger and rub it around in the ear as best I can, then turn each ear in turn into the shower spray to rinse it out. After the shower I very carefully use Qtips to clean and dry the interior of the ears.

I recognize the dangers of this, and don’t recommend it to anyone, however the last time I saw an ENT doc, she commented on how pristine my ear canals are 😅

Your doctor may be able to flush it for you. Or there’s the elephant ear wash
I think it’s best to go to an ENT so they can flush if it’s an impacted cerumen and some otic drops if it’s inflamed.

I had that a long time ago,so I went to my doctor who said,I don't have my tool (can't remember the name) but come back Monday ..in the interim use the Murine Ear Wax Removal kit and ONLY the MEWRK...worked like a charm,I'd been using peroxide and a syringe

If it hurts maybe go to your doctor and see if he will flush that wax out for you. If he has an irrigation machine it’s effective and soothing while they are using it. My little niece was sensitive but had to have it done and she didn’t cry or anything.

Warm olive oil and cotton wool for 2 or 3 days, then Otex ,you will feel it fizzing as it dissolves the wax

Best to visit ENT specialist doctor. Safe and he will remove it and make it clean/
Qtip every morning using hydrogen peroxide, the first swab not quite soaked in it, the following dry swabs removing the dissolved gunk.
